A ROMAN MARBLE BUST OF SARAPIS, CIRCA 2ND CENTURY A.D.
the bust resting on an integral globe and circular profiled socle, a himation falling over his chiton from his left shoulder, his face with full centrally divided beard and eyes with drilled pupils, his long hair falling in voluted curls over the forehead and nape of the neck and formerly surmounted by a separately-carved modius, the pupils drilled; no restorations.
